FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

The questions people actually ask before signing up. Honest answers, vague where vagueness serves you, direct where it serves you.

Is this trading advice?

No. The outputs are information and education only — a structured directional view per pair, with the reasoning attached. They are not personalised recommendations and not a solicitation to trade. You're responsible for your own decisions. If you want personalised advice, talk to a regulated financial adviser.

How accurate are the biases?

The dashboard's overall hit rate, Brier score, and per-pair edge are all visible on the Track Record page once you sign in. Sometimes the engine is worse than a coin flip on a specific pair — and when it is, you'll see it. Every conviction number is annotated with the historical hit rate at that exact level, so a high conviction with a poor track record at that band reads as a warning, not a recommendation.

Where does the data come from?

A mix of public news feeds, economic calendar releases, central-bank futures pricing, and broker-grade FX prices. Specifics deliberately aren't listed here — the value is in the synthesis, not the sources.

Will it fit my strategy?

If you're a discretionary swing trader who uses fundamentals to decide direction and technicals for entry timing — yes. If you're a scalper, intraday algo trader, or pure technicals-only trader — probably not, because this won't give you entries, exits, or short-timeframe signals. It's a fundamental compass, not a trade engine.

Is this FCA-regulated?

No, and deliberately so. This is an information tool, not a financial service. The FCA regulates entities that provide regulated activities (executing trades, holding client money, giving personal recommendations) — none of which this does. The tool tells you what the news set says about each pair; you decide what to do with that information. Treating it as anything more than information is your call.
